Who we are
Cheowlan Untold (Thai: เชี่ยวหลาน อันทอลด์) is a licensed inbound tour operator in Thailand, operated as a licensed sole proprietorship.

Included in every chapter
Return hotel transfers within our pick-up area (Khao Sok & Cheowlan), a licensed local English-speaking guide, all activities and equipment listed for that experience, meals as listed, drinking water, and accident insurance. Not included: Khao Sok National Park entrance fee where it applies (340 THB per adult, 170 THB per child, paid in cash at the park (applies to Dreams, Adventure and Dawn)), personal expenses, and gratuities.
Not included
Flights and travel to Surat Thani, accommodation, personal travel insurance, alcoholic drinks, gratuities, and anything not listed on the chapter page.
Group size
Maximum 15 travellers per experience. A minimum of 2 travellers per booking is required. Children aged 5–11 pay the child rate; the minimum age is 5.
Delivery
This is a service delivered in person on the date you select at checkout. Nothing is shipped. Within 24 hours of booking we email your hotel pick-up time, your guide's name and contact number, and what to bring.
Cancellation & refunds
All prices are charged in Thai Baht (THB). Any other currency shown on our site is an approximate conversion for guidance only.

Refunds are returned to the original card via Stripe and normally appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
If we cancel
If we cancel for any reason — minimum numbers, safety, National Park closure, or an operational problem on our side — you choose a full refund or a transfer to another date at no extra cost.
Weather
Khao Sok is a rainforest and rain is normal. Rain alone does not cancel a chapter. We will cancel only when conditions are genuinely unsafe, for example a storm warning on the lake or flooding on a trail. In that case the "if we cancel" terms above apply.
Changing your date
Tell us 10 days or more before your date and we will move you to any available date at no charge, subject to availability. Message us on WhatsApp or email — details below.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, contact us first. We answer within 24 hours and we would much rather fix a problem directly than have you raise it with your bank.
Booking terms
Your booking
A booking is confirmed once payment is complete and you have received our confirmation email. Payment is taken at the time of booking.
Accuracy
Please make sure the date, chapter and number of travellers are correct at checkout. Tell us straight away if anything is wrong and we will fix it.
Fitness, health and age
Our chapters involve boats, walking on uneven ground, and water. The minimum age is 6 years, and travellers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Tell us before booking about any medical condition, mobility need, pregnancy, or dietary requirement so we can advise honestly on which chapter suits you.
Travel insurance
Accident insurance is included as required by Thai tour operator regulations. It is not a substitute for your own travel insurance, which we strongly recommend and which should cover cancellation, medical care and personal belongings.
On the day
Please follow your guide's instructions and National Park rules at all times. We may end a person's participation without refund if their behaviour puts themselves, other travellers, our team or wildlife at risk.
Photography
We sometimes photograph our chapters. Tell your guide if you would rather not appear, and we will respect that.
Things outside our control
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, National Park closures, transport disruption, strikes, or government restrictions. Where this happens, the "if we cancel" terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
Privacy
What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number, the name of your hotel, your travel dates, and any health or dietary information you choose to tell us. That is all we need to run your day.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, handle or store your full card number. Stripe's own privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Why we hold it
To confirm and operate your booking, to contact you before and on the day, to meet Thai tour operator and insurance record-keeping requirements, and to issue refunds if needed.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to run your day: your guide, our transport partner, our insurer, and the National Park where entry registration is required. We do not sell your data or pass it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
Booking and insurance records for [5] years, in line with Thai accounting and tour operator record-keeping rules, then deleted. [Confirm this period with your accountant.]
Your rights
Email us and we will send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it — whichever you ask for. Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK, these rights are yours.
